Qualco UK golf day raises £1,300 for Princess Alice Hospice

QUALCO |

Golf balls soared like eagles as Qualco UK and its industry friends came out to raise £1,300 for charity at its inaugural golf tournament at St. George’s Hill Golf Club in Surrey. Qualco was joined by teams from Lowell Group, Moriarty Law and Sigma Financial Group in a four ball contest in aid of Princess Alice Hospice.

St George’s Hill Golf Club is steeped in history and is reputedly one of the best courses in the world, designed by Harry Colt, the most prolific golf architect of his generation. It provided a beautiful backdrop and challenging task for the teams involved.

The prize for the best team went to Moriarty Law, whose player Simon Jones was awarded the best individual prize and took home the Qualco trophy. Awards were also presented for the longest drive, sponsored by Lowell Group, and nearest the pin.

Christian Jacob commented: “Our inaugural charity golf tournament launched with great success; it was a good opportunity to meet up with our industry contacts on such a beautiful course. The teams are delighted to have raised money for Princess Alice Hospice, who provide free, high-quality compassionate care and support for patients, their families and carers. We look forward to the next one!”
