Qualco UK accredited for its Environmental Management System

QUALCO |

Qualco UK has been awarded ISO 14001:2015 certification by The British Assessment Bureau.

The internationally recognised standard is awarded to organisations that have an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) in place, demonstrating a business-wide commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its activities, products and services through effective recycling, safe waste disposal, pollution prevention and legal compliance to environmental legislation. The standard demands measurable objectives, regular monitoring and continual improvement.

To attain ISO 14001:2015 certification, The British Assessment Bureau examined Qualco’s current EMS, which ranges from reducing waste and minimising resource consumption to preventing pollution, adhering to a strict recycling policy and training employees around how to be more environmentally aware.

This is the second certification awarded to Qualco, a leading provider of panel and asset management software and analytics. It achieved the ISO 27001:2013 for its information security system in 2015 and has continued to retain the award.

Victoria Oliver, Head of Compliance for Qualco UK, commented, “We are delighted to achieve a second ISO certification from the British Assessment Bureau. We are committed to continually improving our EMS processes and the ISO 14001 offers assurance to our clients and workforce that we not only meet, but will continue to improve on these high standards year on year.”
